So, I would definitely recommend it, if you like a romantic love story that is predictable and still heartwarming. It took me a day to finish the book, it was really hard to put down. I liked both characters, despite Avery being quite an unusual man. It was written in Mary Balogh’s wonderful style. He gets close to Anna and this is how their love story begins. But the new earl’s guardian is interested in Anna…Īvery Archer, Duke of Netherby, is the new earl’s guardian. As expected, they want nothing to do with her. Also, she finds out that she has three siblings.

She finds out she is the daughter of the late Earl of Riverdale, heir to his fortune. She didn’t know anything about her family. His only legitimate daughter, Anna Snow, grew up in an orphanage in Bath. See here the other books I’ve reviewed by her, including the ones in this series.

Humphrey Westcott dies, leaving behind a fortune and a title that will change the lives of everyone in his family, especially for the daughter no one knew he had. The first novel in the Westcott Series, followed by Someone to Hold, Someone to Wed, Someone to Care, and Someone to Trust.
